Experience: Voiceconnex is looking for an experienced VoIP and low voltage technician to fill either a Help Desk/In house project technician position or a Field Service/Installation Technician position. We are needing a person who is flexible, teachable, and self-motivated with a technology passion or background. Job Duties: We mostly work with the installation of VoIP phones, intercoms, bells and clocks for school districts as well as commercial businesses. Days at the office are spent providing help desk type of support remotely for our partners or doing configuration and setup for installations. Some time at the office will be spent communicating with our partners in order to acquire all necessary information needed to program their custom systems. Setting up base components and testing the phone system in house, troubleshooting issues, training partner’s core users on the new system, and onsite installation will all be a part of your job. We typically have multiple installations underway during any given time so multitasking is needed to be successful in this position.
Training: Your training will include, but not be limited to, full explanation of the Grandstream product line. You will get to know their products well as this is who our main manufacturing partner is when installing new phones for our clients. You will learn the ins and outs of installing a new VOIP phone solution as well as intercom, bells, and clocks.
